We Open It Up Before We Build
Every estimate follows an in-person visit. Not photos. Not a walk-through from the doorway. We look at the actual condition: the subfloor, what's behind the tile, whether the framing is what it's supposed to be.
What We Find
Old materials, water damage, framing that wasn't built to last. These are not surprises we discover after demo. They're what we're looking for before the estimate is written. What's behind the wall changes what the job actually costs and how it gets done.
What Happens Next
If something behind the wall needs attention before finish work can go in, we say so. Some jobs need a permit. We tell you which yours is before work starts. Nothing gets papered over.
Then We Build
Once the underlying condition is handled, the finish work goes in on solid ground. That's why every estimate comes after seeing the space. There's no honest way to quote a remodel from a description.
Who We Are
Meet Yuriy
Yuriy started as a finish carpenter in 2004, setting crown molding and building custom cabinetry on job sites from Kenosha to Winnetka. Over the next twelve years he built out a specialty carpentry practice, adding tile work, framing, and full bathroom builds one project at a time. Clients kept asking if he could handle more. He could.
Today, Yuriy Remodeling runs full home renovations for homeowners across Chicago's North Shore and Southern Wisconsin, from kitchen overhauls to finished basements with custom bars and designer LED lighting. The finish-carpenter's eye never left. He still walks every job site personally. Every project closes the same way, trim tight, tile even, no shortcuts on the final pass.

Where We Work
Yuriy Remodeling serves two regions. Chicago's North Shore and Southern Wisconsin. The crew is regularly on job sites in Winnetka, Kenilworth, Glencoe, and Wilmette, with most of the North Shore luxury work coming from Lake Forest, Highland Park, Lake Bluff, and Bannockburn. Northbrook, Deerfield, and Glenview are in the regular rotation, too. On the Wisconsin side, Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, Somers, Bristol, and Racine are home territory.
